Martino and his styling team have been featured at major industry events in North America including Waldorf Astoria Intercoiffure New York and Fontainebleau Intercoiffure in Miami Beach, Florida. Martino has been featured along with Tabatha Coffey, Kim Vo, Ken Paves, John Frieda and many other elite professionals at Behind the Chair’s Stylist Choice Awards and has received HSN’s Best Entertainer Award.
Martino is also the proud founder and CEO of Wigs & Wishes,® a non-profit philanthropic organization that supports courageous women and children battling cancer. It grants wigs to women and wishes to children.

Paula Abdul is a ground-breaking choreographer, dancer, songwriter, performer, designer, actor and business woman. She is a two-time Emmy Award winner, Grammy Award winner, American Music Award winner, and multi-platinum recording artist who has been entertaining her fans for over 25 years.
Paula became a worldwide singing sensation with her first album Forever Your Girl, followed by an astonishing six number 1 singles. There is nothing more personally satisfying to me, then when you can find the time, in this crazy helter skelter lifestyle, to help those suffering with this horrendous disease.
I became a volunteer after I had lost a dear friend to Ovarian Cancer, within three short months of her diagnosis. I had never seen a person younger than me suffer and decimate before my eyes. I was so heart broken. We would walk each year together on Mother’s Day at the Race for the Cure. That year, I got the news as I walked without her on Mother’s Day 2015 that she had passed during the event. So volunteering gave me the personal gratification of giving back inspired by Denise.
As an accountant and CPA, I have worked in both private and public companies and CPA firms. With this experience, I was asked after my third year to join the board as their Treasurer. It has been an honor to participate in the planning of events bother for fund raising and granting wishes.
I continue to be on the lookout for others who are missing something in their daily lives, and could fill it with their effort and talents to help us increase the benefits we can provide. Until there is a cure, there will continue to be a need to give women a beautiful natural looking wig offering them hope and comfort until their own hair grows back. There will still be a need to grant wishes to kids who need some bright, spectacular wish granted, while their parents sacrifice so much to get through this horrible setback threatening their child’s future.
We can all help in some way, with our time, with our money and with our businesses. I am a true believer in Martino Cartier’s motto, “If you don’t know how to Give, then you don’t know how to Live.”

Wigs & Wishes by Martino Cartier is a non-profit organization founded by Martino Cartier, that is dedicated to providing wigs & granting wishes to courageous individuals battling cancer. It takes more than one person to pass a message of Love, Hope and Encouragement to help those suffering with this horrendous disease. As an honored Board Member as well a physician with a dormant form of cancer myself and in long term recovery from substance abuse for 31 years thru the Grace of God, this affords me the ability to give back and have a “servants heart “.
My ministries include not only battling cancer thru donating my time and money to Wigs and Wishes but also includes fight drug Addiction thru Shall Never Thirst and Jesus Christ Block parties' ministries hitting the streets of Philadelphia (i.e., Kensington).
We need your help in stamping your legacy by donating your money and if possible your time as a volunteer by giving to those suffering with Cancer, Hope, Love and Encouragement thru this charitable organization Wigs & Wishes.

Wigs & Wishes By Martino Cartier is a network of salon owners, stylists and beauty industry experts joined together with one mission: to provide courageous women battling cancer with a wig at no cost, as well as granting wishes to children battling childhood cancer. A breast cancer survivor myself, I was introduced to Wigs & Wishes 10yrs ago while undergoing treatment. John Levitan has been an instrumental part of making the “wishes” part of Wigs and Wishes come true. John is currently a managing member of the Medical Specialties Group in Pensacola, FL, and has an extensive background in Business Development as well as alternative energies. John is always there when Friends Are By Your Side needs him and his selfless giving has made it possible to bring unimaginable joy to the children who are able to have their wishes granted and as well as making it possible for Friends Are By Your Side to do what it does daily and assist women in need of a wig during their hardest time.
